The Compugene Membership System has been specially designed
to store and process membership and financial data for dues-based,
contribution-based, and fee-based organizations, such as
synagogues, private schools, temples, museums, scout troops, etc,
and can also be used for processing names, addresses, and phone
numbers for business or home and personal use. Information stored
in the database includes:
- Member names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses
- Member information such as: date joined, member type
- Sisterhood membership information
- Financial obligations and payments made, per member
- Any events that are scheduled for a member, including date and
location
- Notifications for a member (yahrzeits), to permit timely sending
of reminders
- Non-members who are affiliated with your organization or are
donors to the organization
Your organization can purchase the base system, which includes
everything but the following features or can purchase any or all of
the following additional features:
- Notify feature for Yahrzeit management
- Cemetery Plot management
- Round Robin (also referred to as Mishloach Manot for
Purim)
- Seating
- Scheduling
- Library feature to track your organization's media, such
as books, audio tapes, video tapes/dvds, etc.
- General Ledger
- Interface to outside accounting packages

installed, please click the Help menu item from the Main Window and select the
Features choice.
Here are descriptions of some of the many system features:
Membership management:
-- Maintain a database of names, addresses, phone numbers,
children's names, birthdays, etc. and Hebrew names written in
Hebrew characters
-- Sort your data in a variety of ways, by: name, address, sign-up
date, amounts owed, etc., in ascending or descending order.
-- Create memo information about a member and an optional "wake-up"
date, to notify you when timely information must be viewed.
-- Import names and address data from existing data sources.
-- Produce aliah index cards for Sabbath and holiday honors
tracking.
-- Store member's E-mail addresses, as well as occupations.
-- Export data into files that can be used in other applications,
such as spreadsheets and word processors.
-- Manage High Holiday seat assignments, and track seats based on
your seating chart!
-- Manage cemetery plot assignments.
-- Maintain committee membership rolls, identify governing board
members.
-- Automatically produce yearly notifications (Yahrzeits).

Events are occurrences such as: meetings, bar mitzvahs,
weddings, kiddushes, etc.
at all social/banquet halls and meeting rooms; prevent conflicts in
scheduling.

your modem via a simple double-click of the mouse!
-- Full round-robin (Mishloach Manot) system for Purim, including
reciprocation, separate billing, many reports

Financial control:

of payments and check numbers, if desired.

Security:
-- A full security system is provided so that you can assign:

-- One or more users can be designated as 'master user' with all
rights and privileges.
-- The master user creates all other user-ids and initial sign-on
passwords and assigns privileges.
-- The master user controls all aspects of the security system,

maximum number of logons before requiring user to change

whether security is active or inactive at any particular time, as
desired
-- Passwords are stored in a fully encrypted database for total
security
